New centre to provide comprehensive cancer services closer to home, including a dedicated programme supporting women affected by cancer.
KUALA LUMPUR, Wednesday, 2 September 2026 – Icon Sunsuria Sdn Bhd and Avisena Healthcare Sdn Bhd have signed an Operating Agreement to establish Icon Oncology at Avisena Specialist Hospital 2 (ASH2) in Klang Valley. The partnership brings together Icon Oncology’s specialist cancer care expertise with Avisena Healthcare’s established hospital capabilities and strong foundation in women’s health, creating a platform to deliver high-quality, multidisciplinary oncology care for patients.
The centre will serve the broader community and has been designed with a deliberate focus on women’s cancers, targeting some of the most prevalent malignancies affecting Malaysian women, including breast cancer, gynaecological cancer, colorectal cancer, and lung cancer, as reported by the Malaysia National Cancer Registry.
Specialist oncology care will be delivered within an integrated healthcare environment that brings together multidisciplinary expertise across oncology and women's health, enabling coordinated, personalised treatment at every stage of the patient journey. From diagnosis and active treatment through to follow-up and survivorship, the centre will place strong emphasis on clinical excellence, continuity of care, and a supportive patient experience.
