Dr Malwinder Singh is a Visiting Senior Clinical Oncologist with over 16 years of experience in treating a wide range of cancers. Specialising in breast, colorectal, lung, prostate, and brain cancers. His clinical practice focuses on advanced radiotherapy techniques, including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and Gamma Knife radiosurgery for brain tumours.
He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Melaka Manipal Medical College, followed by a Master of Clinical Oncology from the University of Malaya. He further advanced his expertise through specialised training in stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT/SRS/SRT) at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and Gamma Knife radiosurgery at Na Homolce Hospital, Prague.
Dr Malwinder has served within Malaysia’s public healthcare system, including at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru, where he was involved in the management of complex oncology cases. His experience across high-volume centres has strengthened his approach to delivering precise and effective cancer treatment.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Malwinder is actively involved in clinical research and has participated in numerous clinical trials, reflecting his commitment to advancing cancer treatment and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Known to many as “The Bald Oncologist”, Dr Malwinder has also built a presence on social media, where he shares insights on cancer care and raises awareness to a wider audience. Through this platform, he aims to make oncology more accessible and relatable to patients and the public.
